Terms of Use

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

These Terms of Use govern the purchaseand use of The Event Growth Engine™ Workbook and related materials purchased from The Event Growth Engine™.

The Event Growth Engine™ is operated by Flexy Style LLC, doing business as Event Growth Engine ("the Company," "we," or "us"). The Company is the seller of the Workbook and the party you contract with under these Terms.
By purchasing, downloading, or using the Workbook, you agree to these Terms and to the license selected at purchase.

If you are purchasing on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

1. OWNERSHIP

The Event Growth Engine™ Workbook, methodology, framework, written content, assessments, scoring approach, graphics, and related materials are owned by Sonja Campbell and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The Event Growth Engine™ is a trademark of Sonja Campbell.

Purchasing the Workbook does not transfer ownership of the Workbook, methodology, trademark, or other intellectual property to you.

Instead, your purchase gives you permission to use the Workbook according to the license you selected.

2. YOUR LICENSE

Your license applies to the version of The Event Growth Engine™ Workbook purchased.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, licenses are:

  • for internal professional use;

  • non-exclusive;

  • limited to the number of authorized users permitted by the license purchased; and

  • valid for ongoing use of the Workbook version purchased.

Your license is not limited to one event.

 Licensed users may use the Workbook across multiple events produced for their organization's own business, brand, members, employees, or audiences.

Events produced, managed, or delivered on behalf of external clients are not covered by the standard Individual, Team, or Organizational Licenses.

3. INDIVIDUAL PROFESSIONAL LICENSE

An Individual Professional License permits use of the Workbook by one authorized user.

The authorized user may:

  • complete and annotate the Workbook;

  • keep personal digital backup copies;

  • print reasonable working copies for personal use;

  • use the Workbook across multiple events they work on for their organization;

  • revisit and reuse the Workbook over time;

  • discuss their results internally;

  • share scores, findings, conclusions, priorities, and recommendations with colleagues or leadership; and

  • create their own internal presentations, reports, or action plans based on what they learn.

The Workbook itself may not be distributed to additional users.

If an organization purchases an Individual Professional License for an employee or contractor, the organization may reasonably reassign the license when staffing or responsibilities permanently change.

The license may not be repeatedly rotated among multiple users as a substitute for a Team License.

4. TEAM LICENSE

A Team License permits use of the Workbook by up to five authorized users within one organization at one time.

The organization is not required to submit or register the names of those users.

Authorized users may:

  • each use their own digital or printed working copy;

  • complete the assessment individually;

  • compare scores, observations, evidence, and findings;

  • use the Workbook across multiple events produced for the organization;

  • conduct internal discussions;

  • share conclusions and recommendations with colleagues and leadership; and

  • create internal reports, presentations, and action plans.

Authorized users may be reasonably replaced as staffing or responsibilities change.

The Team License may not be used as a rotating library, continuously reassigned to avoid the five-user limit, or otherwise used to provide effectively unlimited access.

No more than five people may be authorized to use the Workbook under the Team License at one time.
5. ORGANIZATIONAL LICENSE

An Organizational License permits broader internal use of the Workbook by more than five authorized users, subject to the authorized-user scope established through the Organizational License process.

The Organizational License applies to the licensed organization identified in the applicable license confirmation.

It does not automatically extend to parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, chapters, franchisees, member organizations, clients, customers, partners, or other organizations unless expressly included in writing.

Authorized users may use the Workbook across multiple events produced for the licensed organization's own business, brand, members, employees, or audiences.

Use outside the agreed organizational scope requires separate written permission or expanded licensing.

6. CONTRACTORS

A contractor may count as an authorized user when working as part of the licensed organization's internal event team on events produced for that organization.

A contractor's access counts toward the authorized-user limit of the applicable license.

Access provided through one organization does not give a contractor an independent right to use the Workbook for other clients, customers, organizations, consulting engagements, training, or other external work.

7. SHARING YOUR FINDINGS

“Share the diagnosis. Don’t redistribute the diagnostic.”

Your license limits access to the Workbook itself. It does not prevent you from using what you learn.

Licensed users may share internally:

  • scores;

  • findings;

  • evidence;

  • observations;

  • priorities;

  • conclusions;

  • recommendations; and

  • their own analysis based on the Workbook.

Licensed users may also refer internally to The Event Growth Engine™ and its four pillars with appropriate attribution.

Reasonable excerpts from the Workbook may be used in internal presentations or discussions when needed to explain findings, provided those excerpts do not reproduce a substantial portion of the Workbook or serve as a substitute for additional licenses.

8. WORKBOOK SHARING AND STORAGE

You may store and use the Workbook in ways reasonably necessary for the license you purchased.

An Individual Professional License should not be placed in a shared location accessible to unlicensed users.

A Team License may be stored in a restricted internal location accessible to the authorized team members.

An Organizational License may be stored in an appropriate internal location accessible to the users covered by that license.

You may not upload or store the Workbook in a location that effectively makes it available to people outside the authorized scope of the license.

 9. USES NOT INCLUDED IN STANDARD LICENSES

Unless separately authorized in writing, the standard Individual Professional, Team, and Organizational Licenses do not permit you to:

  • use the Workbook to provide services to external clients;

  • incorporate the Workbook or methodology into paid consulting, facilitation, coaching, training, or agency services;

  • distribute the Workbook to customers, members, attendees, partners, or other organizations;

  • resell, sublicense, white-label, or redistribute the Workbook;

  • reproduce substantial portions of the Workbook for people who are not authorized users;

  • modify the Workbook for redistribution;

  • create a competing or derivative commercial diagnostic product from the Workbook;

  • remove The Event Growth Engine™ branding; or

  • present The Event Growth Engine™ methodology as your own.

Separate rights or written permission may be available for uses that fall outside the standard licenses.
10. ASSOCIATIONS, MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATIONS, AND EVENT ATTENDEES

An association or membership organization may use the Workbook internally to diagnose events produced for its own organization, members, or audiences under the appropriate license.

That does not make the organization's entire membership, event attendees, customers, chapters, or other external parties authorized users.

Providing the Workbook itself to members, customers, attendees, chapters, partners, or other external recipients requires separate or broader rights.

11. WORKBOOK VERSIONS AND FUTURE PRODUCTS

Your purchase includes ongoing use of the Workbook version you purchased.

Future major editions, products, training, digital tools, certification, licensing programs, or services are not automatically included.

Minor corrections or replacement files may be provided at our discretion, but doing so does not create an obligation to provide future major editions or products.

12. PAYMENT AND REFUNDS

Prices and payment terms are those shown at the time of purchase.

Purchases are also subject to the applicable Refund Policy available at the point of sale.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

13. EDUCATIONAL AND DIAGNOSTIC PURPOSE

The Event Growth Engine™ Workbook is an educational and diagnostic resource designed to help event organizations investigate event-growth challenges and make more informed decisions.

It does not guarantee:

  • increased registration;

  • increased attendance;

  • increased revenue;

  • improved retention;

  • specific financial results; or

  • any other particular business outcome.

Business results depend on many factors beyond the Workbook and its methodology.

Customers remain responsible for their own business, operational, financial, legal, marketing, and strategic decisions.

14. MISUSE OF THE WORKBOOK

If the Workbook or methodology is materially used outside the scope of the license purchased, we may require the unauthorized use to stop.

Where appropriate, we may also require the purchaser to obtain the correct license or expanded-use permission.

For serious or repeated violations, we reserve the right to terminate the applicable license and pursue other remedies available under law.

Nothing in this section is intended to penalize reasonable good-faith use of the Workbook within the scope of a purchased license.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, licensing options, business operations, or legal requirements.

Updates will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed with the customer.

For changes that materially reduce your rights, the Company will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, where it has your email address, provide notice by email. Your continued use of the Workbook after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

We will not use later changes to these Terms simply to remove material usage rights already granted under a completed purchase.

16. GENERAL

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

These Terms, the license you selected, and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and the Company about the Workbook.

You may not assign your license without the Company's written consent.

The Company may assign these Terms to a successor that takes over the business.

The Company is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

17. PRIVACY

The Company collects the information you provide at purchase and through any license inquiry, such as your name, email address, and organization.

The Company uses that information to deliver the Workbook, administer your license, and respond to you.

See the Privacy Policy at eventgrowthengine.com for details.

18. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Workbook is provided "as is" and "as available" for educational and diagnostic purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The Company does not warrant that the Workbook will meet your needs or produce any particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Workbook or these Terms.

The total liability of the Company for any claim relating to the Workbook will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the license that gave rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In those places, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent the law allows, and nothing in these Terms limits any right that cannot legally be waived.

19. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

You and the Company agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Bronx County, New York.

Nothing in this section limits any consumer right that cannot legally be waived under the law of your home state or country.
